Bathonian Spelling

How many citizens in how many cities would correct the spelling of a film in the cinema?

Bath would- a city where Jane Austen lived for many years. Clearly the locals still feel an affinity towards their local hero.

i don't understand, how was the spelling wrong? did the citizens add the 'E'? was there a different letter instead of 'E'?

Yes a film came out called The Jane Austin bookclub. But in Bath somebody must have come along and put an e instead of the i.

well...the movie is actually called and spelled 'the jane austen book club'. so your citizens were just covering up the fact that one of their own mis-spelled their beloved jane's name.

Jane Austen hated her time in Bath, so I don't believe she merits, or indeed holds, beloved status amongst its citizens.

Of course Bath was a rather different place in those days, so perhaps she should be forgiven for her criticisms. I'm sure she'd love it here now, unless she wanted to take her bicycle on the 418.
